Reasons why C (AVERAGE) students are more success

In our world today high CGPA doesn't not in all ramification guarantee success, but the theoretical and practical contents in our brain in accordance with right attitude to work. There are a number of incredibly successful entrepreneurs who didn't allow their academic experiences to deter them from rising to the top.

When most people seem to be proud when they are A students, some theories indicate that C students seem to be more successful than A students after graduation. A students tend to end up working for C students.

Steve Jobs, for example, never finished college. The same is true for Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates . Likewise, the youngest female billionaire in the world, Elizabeth Holmes, who is revolutionizing medicine, dropped out of Stanford to pursue her dreams. Richard Branson suffered from dyslexia and dropped out of high school at the age of 15 .

Simply put, while receiving an education in some form or another is important, there is no single path toward greatness.
As renowned astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson recently stated while delivering the commencement address at the University of Massachusetts Amherst

"Your grades, whatever is your GPA, rapidly becomes irrelevant in your life. I cannot begin to impress upon you how irrelevant it becomes.
Because in life, they aren't going to ask you your GPA.

…If a GPA means anything, it's what you were in that moment — and it so does not define you for the rest of your life."

"Intelligence is subjective, and academic achievement is not always a proper way to measure it. Success as a student is largely dependent on one's ability to operate within a certain system, but it's not always the best preparation for the real world."

1.They don’t waste energy thoughtlessly
In The 4-Hour Body, Tim Ferriss teaches what he calls, “minimum effective dose” (MED) — the smallest dose that will produce a desired outcome. Anything beyond that is wasteful.

To boil water, the MED is 212°F (100°C) at standard air pressure. Boiled is boiled — higher temperatures will not make it more boiled. If you need 15 minutes in the sun to trigger a melanin response, 15 minutes is your MED for tanning. More than 15 minutes is redundant and will just result in burning and a forced break from the beach.

C students understand this. Their goal is learning. Anything beyond that is wasteful. The energy cost to go from an A- to an A is generally far greater than the actually learning outcome. Thus, it is often wasted energy. C students don’t put more energy into things than they need to. They are efficient, effective, and focused.

2.Their solutions are simple but extraordinary.
Even the most complex task will not make a C student make long and tiresome calculations. Many young people will look for more creative ways to find a solution to any problem.

Thinking outside the box can bring about more valuable results than following the paved way. One of such representatives of C-grade students is a billionaire Bill Gates, who never pays attention to the grades hiring a person.

3.They know what it means to struggle for their success
Most of the non-excellent students are not fortunate enough to receive a dream job only thanks to a perfectly-looking diploma. They have to pave their way through many obstacles to reach their heights. It appears to be a very valuable experience to go through ups and downs as the way in business is similar.
C students learn to struggle right from the school bench. They look for an approach how to pass tests and exams and graduate from school instead of being expelled. So when they leave school they already know how to overcome obstacles and make that simpler.

4.The presentation of success is different among them
For many pupils, an excellent grade is a peak of the success mountain. They do not realize that these are simple numbers that are quite ambiguous. C students do not accept a standard representation of success and avoid following masses. They build their own path that will lead them to a prosperous life.

Such young people come to the conclusion that excellent grades are not the superior dream either themselves or being not explained by parents. Consequently, they set their goal independently and try to reach them alone as well.

5.They are far from being perfectionists
Done task is better than not completed one. This is the philosophy of C pupils who realize that perfectionism results in procrastination in some time. That is why they find a golden mean and finish everything that is assigned though without great desire and diligence.

These pupils also prefer learning through their mistakes than providing excellent results with someone’s assistance. That will be much more useful in further life where they will reach heights easier and quicker than nerds.

6.Self-directed learning is for them
Why do C students not go to extremes? They rarely get excellent grades but non-satisfactory results are also not for them. The answer is simple: they enjoy learning but only the information that is interesting for them.

There is no sense in mastering sciences that, to their mind, will not bring about any decent results. Consequently, C students opt for self-directed learning and complete tasks in other disciplines only for them to be completed without paying attention to the quality.

7.They are constant learners
Average students become lifetime learners, just maybe not from books and professors. Rather, they know the value of learning from alternative forms of education like mentors and podcasts. By observing those that have gone before them, they learn from their mistakes and successes.

Many are even self-taught because others never gave them much of a chance so they decided to take on their own personal growth. A lot of average students become avid readers later in life because they appreciate wisdom even if they have to go out and seek it.

As you can see, a “C” student is not one that you should discount. As a matter of fact, if you are in a leadership position, giving an average student a chance could very well end up being the best business decision you ever make. Heck, you may even learn a thing or two from a “middle of the class” slacker.

8.They have to be better at networking
When you are top of the class, you do not have to know the right people because you are the “right people.” However, when you are “average,” your resume does not make much of an impression so it helps to know a person on the inside that will vouch for you and prove that you are more than just an 8.5×11 sheet of paper. It pays (literally) to become an expert at networking and building your contact list early on in your career.

We all know that communication can bring about great benefits. Depriving themselves of the necessity to listen to dull lectures C students communicate with a variety of people and find useful networks. They have more chances to meet necessary people, who might be their potential employers or investors than A-graders and make use of these connections.

9.They are not trying to please and impress their superiors
C students don’t spend enormous amounts of energy trying to impress their superiors. They respect and love their teachers, but they don’t worship them and obey their every request. They don’t see their teachers the guardians of their success. They don’t depend on references or resumés anymore. They realize that in today’s world, their work speaks for itself — it’s online for everyone to see.

10.They know how to leverage other people’s abilities
While A and B students try to do it all themselves, C students build an army around them of talented people who compensate for their weaknesses. Like Henry Ford, they aren’t afraid to admit they don’t know it all. On one occasion, Ford was being harassed for not being intelligent. In response to an offensive line of questioning, he pointed his finger at the questioning lawyer and replied:

“Let me remind you that I have a row of electric push-buttons on my desk, and by pushing the right button, I can summon to my aid men who can answer any question I desire to ask concerning the business to which I am devoting most of my efforts. Now, will you kindly tell me, why I should clutter up my mind with general knowledge, for the purpose of being able to answer questions, when I have men around me who can supply any knowledge I require?”

Students with excellent and good grades almost always rely only on themselves. Being aware that C students lack some knowledge and skills they leverage the abilities of surrounding them people. They team up such groups of people around them that can compensate for their weaknesses. They are able to force necessary for them people perform important tasks without any difficulties so extra knowledge is not obligatory at all.

It is not out of place to pursue excellence as an A or B students. They are extraordinary achievers in life, if they  realised that excellent grades or CGPA is not a passport to success, but practical application of what they have learnt in higher institution in the real world and thinking outside the box to solve problems.

Not every student realizes that grades are just numbers and nothing more during the school years. Unfortunately, focused on excellence in studying pupils get lost when they leave educational institutions as grades play no role there. C graders solve this problem while studying yet.

Moreover, their representation of the world and valuable learning experience appear to be much more useful, so graduating from schools they put their knowledge to proactive and achieve success more often in comparison with other students.

A person's character, experiences and connections , not grades, ultimately determine their direction in life.

Success requires passion, perseverance,
emotional intelligence and the ability to
understand the value of failure.

This is precisely why we see so many “C” students, people we wouldn't necessarily expect, running the world. They understand what it means to struggle, and often have to overcome more obstacles than many people realize.

This is not to say that getting poor grades guarantees success, but that doing well in school doesn't mean you'll always be on top.

In the end, grades are just arbitrary letters on a page. True achievement is a product of making observable and altruistic changes in the real world.

So if you just graduated from high school or college and you didn't finish with honors, don't despair. Life is full of ups and downs, and while we learn a great deal in school, the real education occurs after you leave the classroom.

Never stop learning, never give up and remember to enjoy the ride along the way.
